Spooky Story Night
- The Fifth Grade Committee is already well on its way in planning this one, and they’ll be in touch regarding volunteer opportunities
Santa Parade
- Lead or join the EGS group in the parade
Grounds Clean-Up
- Show up on clean up days, even if you only have a few minutes. Kids can help too, and show their school pride.
- Plant something pretty in the planter by the front door, or help the grounds crew by bringing a bag now and again to pull some weeds in the circle or near the playground.
Scholastic Book Fair
- Sign up for a book-selling shift
Winter Carnival
- Run a craft table, make a raffle basket, sell raffle tickets at the fair, bake cookies, grab some donations from businesses in town, sign up for set-up or clean-up crew. A fun fundraiser!
Family Fun (free events for the EGS community)
- Schedule an EGS skating party at the rink, or choose the roller palace
- Organize a hike in Ravenswood on a half day, or a sledding party if there’s snow
- Help plan Messy Art Night in the Spring
- Organize a movie night, inside or out
- Help to organize the Spring Fling dance - Run the music, help at check-in.
- Or any fun idea you can think of!
Enrichment
- Schedule the enrichment for your child’s grade - a wonderful way to work with your child’s teachers
- Bring in something fun for the whole school to enjoy, or make a recommendation to the PTO
Fundraising
- Sell EGS swag and organize school pride days
- Work with a local restaurant to set up a fundraiser night
- Think of a fun night for adults - paint nite, or trivia for example.
- Any idea welcome!
